Welcome to the 12th IASP Research Symposium
- Whiplash injury: A model for development of chronic pain
We are very pleased to announce that the 12th IASP Research Symposium Whiplash injury: A model for development of chronic pain? will take place in Aarhus, Denmark, 21-23 March 2014.
The symposium presents a unique opportunity to promote and exchange the latest knowledge within the neurobiological and psychosocial aspects of pain development after minor neck injuries, and we hope to attract an interdisciplinary international audience.
The scientific programme will cover different aspects of chronic pain and whiplash injury, including diagnostic issues, genetic, immunological and biomechanical mechanisms, psychosocial markers, pain assessment, CNS imaging and treatment. Further information will be available on the website, which will be updated regularly.
The symposium will include two full days Friday 21 March and Saturday 22 March and a half day on Sunday 23 March 2014. The conference venue will be the Lakeside Lecture Theatre, Aarhus University.
We are very grateful to the International Association for the Study of Pain for giving us the great opportunity to arrange a symposium on this important topic.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Aarhus in March 2014.
